Why do the course?

For divers fascinated by history, adventure, and the eerie beauty of sunken ships, the Wreck Diver course teaches you to safely explore submerged wrecks while respecting their fragile ecosystems. This course goes beyond recreational limits, training you in proper wreck penetration techniques (where allowed) and specialized navigation to avoid hazards like entanglement or silt-outs.

What will I learn?

• Identify structural features and protect marine life growing on wrecks
• Use penetration lines, reels, and proper lighting for overhead environments
• Swim through open areas while maintaining a continuous guideline to the exit
• Avoid entanglement, sharp edges, and disorienting silt disturbances
• Sketch wreck layouts and use compasses to navigate around/inside structures
• Tips on optimize gear for wreck diving
