Why do the course?
The Rescue Diver and EFR courses are transformative programs that elevate your diving skills from self-focused to lifesaving, making you a safer, more confident diver and a trusted asset to any dive team. This dynamic training pushes you beyond recreational diving by teaching you to prevent, recognise, and respond to emergencies for both underwater and on the surface – while cultivating leadership, problem-solving, and composure under pressure. Paired with EFR (a comprehensive first aid and CPR course), you’ll gain vital medical response skills applicable not just to diving, but to everyday life. These certifications are essential for aspiring dive professionals and committed divers alike, and they’re the most rewarding steps you can take before pursuing the PADI Divemaster course.
